The Path: A Journey Through the Bible - Have you ever been curious about what it would be like to read the entire Holy Bible, cover to cover, and then felt overwhelmed by it all? Even I feel that way! Recently I learned about a book that is a collection of stories from the Bible that walks us through the journey from creation (Genesis) to second coming predictions (Revelation), focusing on the key stories alone. It is called The Path: A Journey Through the Bible and I am inviting you to join me on this journey for 24 weeks this summer and fall.

If you’d like to purchase the book (paperback or Kindle), you may do so via the link above. However, as each chapter is gathering of Scripture, I intend to send those passages to you in a separate weekly email that will arrive in your inbox Sunday midday for 24 weeks beginning 5/31. The timing will allow us to complete this journey before Advent. What a great opportunity to increase of Biblical knowledge with whatever level of engagement works for you!

Here is how you can engage:

Read the weekly email and reflect upon the Scripture.
Consider the questions, which will be in the email and also posted on Facebook.
Engage in Facebook conversation about the questions.
Join us on Thursday mornings for a deeper study and conversation.
Discuss the questions as a topic at coffee hour.
Invite someone you know who might like to learn more about the Bible.
Host a discussion group.
Any other creative ideas you can come up with.
